英語圏の大学で教育を受けるのに十分であり、また近い将来研究者コミュニティの中で活躍するための英語力を身に付けることを目標として、英語による口頭表現能力の向上のための訓練を短期集中で行います。
グローバル理工人育成コースの対象科目であり、２単位を取得できます。

| 概要 |
Course Title: Getting Your Point Across—Giving Better STEM Presentations This week-long intensive course is geared to those students wishing to improve their English oral expression skills, particularly discussion, debate, and presentation, through an exploration of timely issues in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM). Students will be expected to listen to and discuss various lectures (mainly TED Talks) and famous speeches. The pair presentation will focus on one of the issues already discussed in class, while the individual presentation will be about a topic chosen by each student according to his or her preferences and field of expertise. Critical thinking strategies will be emphasized as students become more effective speakers, with timely feedback given. |

- 申込先着 20 名
- 全日程出席必須
- 300 番台「英語スピーキング演習 GⅡA」と400番台「英語スピーキング演習GⅣ」は同時開講科目です。
- 2024 年 3 月修了予定者は修了判定に間に合わないため受講できません。
- 教務 WEB システムで履修登録/追加申告を行ってもGoogle Formによる申し込みを完了していない方は受講できません。
