IDEA League Summer School 2022 : Call for Participants

Tokyo Tech students are invited to participate in summer schools organized by IDEA League.
These summer schools are conducted for students of the IDEA League member universities. The ASPIRE League, of which Tokyo Tech is a member university, was invited to send its students as part of ongoing collaboration between the two leagues.
This year, the following summer schools are offered.
Ⅰ. Politecnico di Milano Summer School: July 25-29

Information
１．Eligibility: Applicants should be
(1) Tokyo Tech graduate students
(2) Interested in the theme of the summer school
(3) Able to attend an online interview（see 8. for details）.
２．Nominees from Tokyo Tech: 1 student for each summer school
３．Fees: There are no registration or participation fees. Participants should cover travel costs, overseas travel insurance, transportation, other personal activities during the program. There will be chances to receive a scholarship from Tokyo Tech.
４．Application Documents:
* A copy of an email that shows your academic supervisorʼs agreement is acceptable. (You do not need to obtain the supervisorʼs signature or seal.)
(2) Copy of Official Transcripts
*A copy of your GRADES LIST from the Tokyo Tech Web System is acceptable. M1 students and D1 students are required to submit their transcripts from the previous course.
(3) Certification of English language ability
*Certification is not required of IGP student
５．Deadline: Friday, May 27, 2022 at 17:00

８．Selection: Nominations will be based on document screening and online interviews, which will be held on either May 31 (9:00-10:00am) or June 1 (9:00-10:00am). Please note that after the nomination from Tokyo Tech, the final selection will be made by the host university.
９．Notes: (1) The programs are subject to change/cancellation depending on the Covid-19 situation in each country. In the case of a cancellation, prospective participants will be informed 1 month prior to the scheduled start date.
(2) If selected for the program, you are required to
– Register through (https://bit.ly/sirop-aspire-2022) by June 14, 2022.
– Submit an overseas travel notice (海外渡航届), and a departure notice (出発届) via T2APPs. (Click here for details.)
– Submit a completion report after participating in summer school.
